about

This is remastered from a complilation tape that was the first ever release by What Katy Did Next.. Taken from recordings from cassettes made during May and June 1988 and taken to Fairview Studios to be compiled for the copying.
This was the tape that Paul Heaton saw for sale in a shop window in Hull and led to What Katy Did Next supporting the Beautiful South on their first two tours. This tape was also sold at the merchandise stall on the first tour.
It was and still is dedicated to the life of founder member Mark Fell who killed himself in 1986.
